New H.266/VVC codec will offer faster streaming of 8K or 4K videos on mobile

Now, the company, Fraunhofer HHI, which developed 264 (AVC) and H.265 (HEVC) technologies has now announced a new codec called H.266/VVC (Versatile Video Coding).
